TransportTechnologie-Consult Karlsruhe GmbH (TTK) is a subsidiary of Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft mbH (AVG), the regional transport company of Karlsruhe, and PTV AG. AVG is known as the pioneer of tracksharing of light rail and heavy rail, and PTV AG is the largest private industry-independent German consultancy and software firm in the transport sector.

Within the PTV group, TTK is the centre of competence for railbound public transport. Tracksharing of light rail and heavy rail, also known as the "Karlsruhe Model" is one of TTK's special activities.

TTK, which currently has about 30 specialised members of staff, has an annual turnover of more than € 2.7 million. The team has a wide-range of experience in all areas of public transport. Leading members of staff can look back on many years of practical experience in transportation companies, and know all the facets of the industry from "the other side"
